How to setup Belkin Password after reset?

I have personally used belkin router for past couple of years and found them to reliable and effective wifi routers.

There are a lot of ways to recover your Belkin wifi password ,like using the router page ,using a soft reset. 


Let me walk you through the most common and easy method to recover or setup Belkin wifi password.

You should have a strong password for your Belkin router wifi password. Strong password will ensure your wifi safety and stability. If in case you forgot your password and your default settings are not working  then you might be needed to reset the Belkin router .

Change Password For Belkin Router

Step 1

Access Your Web browser eg: Chrome, Firefox or Internet explorer, to "192.168.2.1" to gain access to the Belkin router’s firmware

Step 2

Now you can put the Belkin router password on the password option and click the "Submit" button to log in to the interface. User must know the belkin router password or else the steps might not work. If you do not have a password, then you leave the Belkin password option as blank.

Step 3

You can now click on the "System Settings" option under the Utilities section inside your Belkin router firmware.

Step 4

Enter the password into the "Type in current password" field. If you didn't set a password, leave the field blank. Enter the new password into the "Type in new password" and "Confirm new password" fields and click "Apply Changes."

Step 5

You can change the timeout value of the router firmware to make sure you stay logged in , because the router will logout after a specific period of time.

Step 6

Now Click on "Apply Changes" to change the password. You need to enter the new router password to continue using the router firmware settings and interface
