How to set a password to D-link router after first configuration?

Now a days WiFi is everywhere from any local office to your home.I think you must have some time to protect your router by setting a password on your network.
Setting up a password for d-link is simple. You'll just need a couple of information.
you already configured your router previously and you want to set a password now means either you forget your previous password or you can’t access the router's web page.
let us start from resetting your router
  • To start the process you just simply need to use a paper clip.
  • Press and hold the Reset button for 10 seconds.
  • When you release the Reset button, the D-Link router will reboot automatically.
Note:- Resetting your router to its default factory settings will also reset your router's password.
  • Once reset completed, unplug and re-plug the router’s power adapter.
Access your setup page:-
  1. Please open your Internet browser.
  2. You will need to type 192.168.0.1 or http://dlinkrouter.local/ into the Address Bar, and then press Enter on your keyboard.
  3. A window will be prompted having Username and Password.
  4. Enter admin for the Username and leave the Password (blank). Then press Enter on your keyboard or OK on the screen.
  5. Click the Maintenance tab at the top of the page and then click Admin from the menu on the left-hand side.
6. To change the Administrator password,
– Select Admin from User Account Table as shown.
– Enter Old Password(Leave field empty if router had been previously factory restored).
7. Enter a new password in the New Password field. Verify the password again in the Confirm Password field.
8. Click Modify to save the current configuration.

  6. Used Router Suppliers - We have refurbished and used Cisco routers. Secondly, we have Brocade routers and used HP routers as well. We also have Huawei routers and refurbished Juniper routers in stock. Even though these routers are second-hand, their quality and performance are top-notch.
